Qualification assessment centers based on British standards planned for Uzbekistan
A visit to the United Kingdom by a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Alisher Muratov, has concluded.
During the visit, bilateral meetings were held with representatives of GEMS Education (GME), City & Guilds, Apave PPL Training, Gatwick International Distribution, ECT Engineering College, and the University of Greenwich.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues related to the international accreditation of qualification assessment centers in areas such as plumbing, welding, electrical engineering, and other fields, in accordance with international requirements, the development of international assessment and training standards for professional areas, and the implementation of a pilot project in Uzbekistan.
In addition, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction and City & Guilds.
In accordance with this Memorandum, City & Guilds qualification assessment centers are planned to be established in Uzbekistan.
