Twenty-one young Uzbek chess players to participate in Asian Championship
The Asian Youth Chess Championship for boys and girls under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 will begin tomorrow in the Chinese city of Shenzhen.
At the championship, which is being held for the 28th time, 21 young chess players will compete under the flag of Uzbekistan. More than 900 athletes from 31 countries have submitted applications to participate.
As part of the Asian Championship, rapid competitions featuring seven rounds will be held on July 16, while blitz competitions consisting of nine rounds will take place on July 24.
