Seven-year-old Muhammadyusuf Bahromov wins Asian Schools Chess Championships
Seven-year-old Uzbek chess player Muhammadyusuf Bahromov made his country proud at the 20th Asian Schools Chess Championship, which concluded in Russia’s Tula region.
On October 8, in the ninth round of the continental championship, Muhammadyusuf Bahromov played with the white pieces against Russia’s Vladimir Karaev.

In a hard-fought game, Bahromov defeated his Russian opponent, who had 5 points and was ranked fifth in the under-7 category by tiebreak.

With this victory, Muhammadyusuf Bahromov secured the Asian championship title, finishing with 8 of a possible 9 points.
