Uzbekistan national team wins the Central and North Asian Chess Championship 2026

The Uzbekistan national team won 11 medals at the Central and North Asian Chess Championship 2026 in Kyrgyzstan.

The national team members won four gold, five silver, and two bronze medals, and ranked first in the team events.

The Kazakhstan national team took second place with four gold, two silver, and a bronze medal, while Kyrgyzstan came in third with three gold, two silver, and a bronze medal.

Uzbekistan’s talented chess players Sayfuddin Erkinbayev (U10), Ibrohim Jumanazarov (U12), Malika Norqulova (U12) and Zilola Aktamova (U18) were awarded gold medals. Komiljon Murtazayev (U8), Fazliddin Farkhodov (U10), Akbar Mustafoqulov (U12), Shavkatjon Abdukhalikov (U14) and Malika Jumayeva (U16) became silver medalists. In addition, Khondamir Elmirzayev (U20) and Nigina Khudoyberdiyeva (U10) won bronze medals.
