The Presidents visited the Nigora textile enterprise
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as part of their joint program in Bukhara, became familiar with the activities of one of Uzbekistan’s leading textile enterprises.
The heads of state visited the industrial site of the company Nigora, which has established full-cycle production of competitive finished products in Bukhara.

The $35 million project was successfully commissioned in August 2024. The enterprise provides permanent employment for 840 people, most of whom are women.

High-tech production lines from Japan, Italy, Belgium, and Germany enable the enterprise to compete confidently in foreign markets and produce 20 million linear meters of finished fabric and 1 million units of garments annually.

The Presidents were shown samples of finished clothing and fabrics. Products manufactured under the “Shoyigul” brand are primarily exported to Italy, Austria, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

The heads of state highly appreciated the company’s export strategy, with an annual export volume of $10 million, as well as its plans to expand and to launch production of finished goods made from synthetic fibers and blended fabrics.
