Upon arrival in Tashkent, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, visited the Heydar Aliyev Memorial Complex.

This complex, built on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, was opened in June 2022 during the President of Azerbaijan’s visit to Uzbekistan.

The distinguished guest laid flowers at the monument and paid tribute to Heydar Aliyev, the politician and statesman who founded independent Azerbaijan.

It was noted that the national leader of Azerbaijan made an enormous contribution to strengthening friendly relations and historical ties between the two countries.

It is noteworthy that Heydar Aliyev Square, which has become a vivid expression of the strong friendship of our fraternal peoples, is always full of people.
