On July 3, during the second day of his state visit to Azerbaijan, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Alley of Honor, the memorial resting place of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev.

The President laid flowers at the grave of Heydar Aliyev, paying deep respect to the memory of the great statesman and political figure of Azerbaijan.

Heydar Aliyev is rightfully regarded as the founder of independent Azerbaijan. Under his leadership, a solid foundation was laid for the country’s dynamic development and growing international standing.

His contribution to state-building and the strengthening of national sovereignty holds a special place in the history of Azerbaijan.
