President of Azerbaijan visits the Heydar Aliyev Memorial Complex

The state visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Uzbekistan continues.

After laying flowers at the Independence Monument in New Uzbekistan Park, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his spouse, accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, visited the Heydar Aliyev Memorial Complex in Tashkent.

The complex was established in 2022 at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in honor of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people and a close friend of the Uzbek people.

The distinguished guest laid a wreath at the monument and paid tribute to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, an outstanding statesman and political leader and the founder of independent Azerbaijan.
