The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinkhoja Abdurakhmanov met with the Minister of Justice of Japan Keisuke Suzuki.

The parties discussed issues of further enhancing justice cooperation.

It was noted with satisfaction that the agreements and documents signed during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Japan in December 2019 became a solid foundation for the development of cooperation between the justice authorities of the two countries.

The Minister noted that cooperation in this area has intensified in recent years, a striking example of which is the signing of a cooperation program for 2024-2026 between the ministries of justice of the two countries in January this year, the presentation of the developed manual on explaining certain principles of the law “On administrative procedures” in 2024 and mutual visits.
