Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov held talks with Japan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ayano Kunimitsu, during which the parties discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda and promising areas for further cooperation.

The Minister emphasized that Uzbekistan is an important strategic partner for Japan, noting the Japanese side’s high regard for the long-standing cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to maintain regular dialogue to deepen and comprehensively advance cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.
