The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with Japan’s Minister of Justice, Keisuke Suzuki, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, MFA reports.

The parties discussed the current issues of bilateral cooperation, focusing on strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Japan. Prospects for cooperation in legal reforms, modernization of the judicial system, exchange of experience in governance, and ensuring the rule of law were discussed during the talks.

The possibilities of developing institutional cooperation between the judicial-legal authorities of the two countries in the context of the implementation of national reforms were also explored.
