Following the final 15th round of the 2024/2025 Chess Bundesliga season, the teams featuring our compatriots Javokhir Sindorov, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, and Rustam Kasimdzhanov secured places among the top three.

This team tournament began in September 2024 and saw 15 teams of some of the world’s strongest grandmasters competing for victory. Tournament rounds were held every Sunday from September 2024 until April 27.

Yesterday, the Düsseldorf team, represented by Javokhir Sindorov, faced the Viernheim team, which included Nodirbek Abdusattorov. The match ended in a 4:4 draw. Nodirbek Abdusattorov drew against Düsseldorf team member Arjun Erigaisi of India, while Javokhir Sindorov also drew against Alexey Sarana of Serbia, representing Viernheim.

Our compatriot, former world champion Rustam Kasimdzhanov, played for the Baden-Baden team. The chess players faced the Mülheim team. Baden-Baden secured third place in the Bundesliga. In the final match, Rustam Kasimdzhanov played with the black pieces against Daniel Fridman of Germany, a Mülheim team member. The game ended in a draw with a score of 0.5:0.5.

Throughout the 2024/2025 Bundesliga season, Nodirbek Abdusattorov participated in four matches, each ending in a draw. Javokhir Sindorov represented his team in 13 rounds, achieving 10 victories and drawing 3 times. The experienced Rustam Kasimdzhanov played in 10 rounds, securing two wins, suffering three losses, and drawing five times.
