On April 29-30, Samarkand will host an international conference dedicated to the 1155th anniversary of the birth of our great compatriot, the distinguished scholar who contributed significantly to the development of Islamic sciences – the Sultan of Theology, Imam Abu Mansur Maturidi.

The conference’s theme will be “Maturidism – A Doctrine of Tolerance, Moderation, and Enlightenment”. Preparations for this significant international event are currently in full swing.

The conference aims to comprehensively and deeply study the exemplary life path, rich scholarly and spiritual heritage of Imam Maturidi, to widely promote the principles of tolerance and moderation embedded in the Maturidi teaching among the global community, and to foster in young people a spirit of patriotism and respect for national and universal values.
