Today, the spouse of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and the spouse of the President of the Republic of Serbia Tamara Vučić, jointly visited the “Imkon” multidisciplinary specialized preschool education institution in Qibray district of Tashkent region, which includes a rehabilitation center.
The guests were welcomed by specialists of the center, who spoke about the conditions created for the comprehensive development of children in need of special care. The “Imkon” center combines a kindergarten, speech therapy, and psychological assistance, along with medical and social rehabilitation services.
During the visit, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Tamara Vučić spoke with children, educators, and parents, emphasizing the importance of such institutions in strengthening an inclusive society.
The First Lady of Uzbekistan noted that the development of an inclusive education system is one of the key directions in protecting children’s rights. In turn, the spouse of the President of Serbia expressed her admiration for the care and attention provided to children in need of special support in Uzbekistan and highly praised the center’s activities.
