Machay village in Surkhandarya region’s Baysun district is located in the heart of the majestic mountains.

The population is mainly engaged in cattle breeding. These places are also famous for their delicious apples. Apple trees are grown in almost every home.

Machay, Qizil Navr, and Kentala villages have a high tourist potential. Recently, the number of tourists coming here on vacation has been increasing. Residents try to create the most comfortable conditions for guests. However, this is not enough. It is necessary to improve the region’s tourism infrastructure, repair existing roads, build hotels, recreation centers, and service facilities, and improve communications and transport systems. As a result, the region will become a source of well-being for local residents and one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Uzbekistan.
