Import substitution project discussed
The Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement Agency held a meeting with representatives of the American company Prestone PFX and Global Petrochemical Group LLC.
The parties discussed prospects for establishing production of antifreeze products that meetinternational standards in Uzbekistan.
The parties considered establishing joint ventures in Uzbekistan, introducing advanced technologies, increasing production localization, and supplying products to the domestic market and for export.
Following the meeting, mechanisms for implementing joint projects were identified, and issues related to coordinating activities among the relevant organizations and working groups were discussed.
