“Problems in Allergology and Immunology”

The Institute of Human Immunology and Genomics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a scientific-practical conference “Problems in Allergology and Immunology”, dedicated to the memory of Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Rakhim Khaitov.

Almost 250 specialists from Uzbekistan participated in the conference, organized jointly with the Institute of Immunology of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency of Russia. They discussed the latest research and advanced scientific and practical experience of leading scientists and practitioners, the prospects for the development of the industry.

The participants once again remembered the life path and the rich scientific heritage of Rakhim Khaitov. It was noted that the Institute was established on the initiative of R. Khaitov in 1985. Until the end of his days, the scientist provided assistance and contributed to the development of immunology and allergology in Uzbekistan.
