Cooperation between the Central Securities Depository and Raiffeisen Bank International

An agreement was signed at the Ministry of Economy and Finance between the Central Securities Depository and Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) regarding the opening of accounts and the establishment of correspondent relations.

Within the framework of cooperation, priority areas have been identified, including developing the local currency bond market, improving the quality of depository services, and strengthening global investors’ confidence in local assets.

This agreement will also serve as a positive signal for other major international depositories and custodian banks to enter the country’s market. Most importantly, the cooperation will elevate cross-border securities transactions to a new qualitative level and strengthen Uzbekistan’s position on the global financial map.
