International students explored Uzbekistan’s digital opportunities

A group of international students studying in the United States visited Uzbekistan to study the country’s rapidly developing digital ecosystem.

At the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the students received information about the activities of IT Park Uzbekistan, including its modern infrastructure, startup support system, benefits for residents, and measures to develop information technologies. Particular attention was paid to the export of IT services and to attracting international companies.

The guests became acquainted with UZINFOCOM’s activities in developing state information systems, providing services within the framework of e-government, and implementing large-scale digitalization projects.

Following the visit, a meeting was held with Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov. The students received detailed answers to questions about the IT market, digital education, and opportunities for young specialists.
