On the third day of the 32nd Summer World University Games in Germany, Uzbekistan’s national team participated in competitions in rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, table tennis, and WT taekwondo.
Takhmina Ikromova, representing Uzbekistan in rhythmic gymnastics, demonstrated a high level of skill and won two gold and two silver medals.
As a result of these achievements, the Uzbekistan team secured second place in the team standings for rhythmic gymnastics. First place went to the team of neutral athletes, who won two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal. Third place was taken by athletes from Azerbaijan, who earned two gold and one bronze medal.
In the WT taekwondo competition, Madina Mirabzalova, competing in the under-57 kg weight category, won a bronze medal.
Thus, the Uzbekistan national team currently holds a total of six medals: two gold, three silver, and one bronze.
