On March 11, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates.

The President of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi on his birthday, sincerely wishing wellbeing, success and prosperity to the friendly people of the UAE.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan considered issues of further enhancing multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

The main attention was paid to the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level visit to the United Arab Emirates in March 2019.

The importance of continuing the implementation of large joint projects in the energy sector, industry, agriculture, finance, infrastructure, significant programs in healthcare and education was noted.

Views were also exchanged on the international and regional agenda.
