On March 4, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The parties noted that the increasingly escalating situation, growing conflicts, and contradictions in the Middle East are causing serious concern.

It was emphasized that such events occurring during the holy month of Ramadan contradict the principles of international law. The need for the immediate cessation of any actions that pose a threat to peace and stability was noted.

The President of Uzbekistan expressed solidarity and support to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates, which is a strategic partner and close friend of Uzbekistan.

The President of Uzbekistan also expressed gratitude for the practical assistance being provided to citizens of Uzbekistan currently in the UAE and for the measures being taken to return them to their homeland.

In turn, the President of the UAE expressed deep gratitude to the Leader of Uzbekistan for the sincere support, as well as the brotherly respect and solidarity shown during this difficult period.
