The Academy of Television, Cinema, and Internet Communications of Bulgaria organized the award ceremony for the winners of the 12th International Film Festival “Slavic Tale”.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Creative Union of Filmmakers of Uzbekistan, film director Muzaffarkhon Erkinov was awarded the Grand Prix of the festival for the film “Puankare” (in the nomination “Best Director’s Work in a Feature Film”).

Also, the winner in the nomination for “Best Cinematography in a Feature Film” was the chief cameraman of the film Ravshan Mirzakamolov, and in the nomination for “Best Screenplay for a Feature Film” – the screenwriter Abduqayum Yuldoshev. 

In addition, Mr. Erkinov was awarded the titles of “Honorary Academician” and “Honoris causa” of the Academy of Cinema, Television and Internet Communications of Bulgaria, the European Association of Audiovisual Arts (Bulgaria-Macedonia), the University of Audiovisual Arts of Skopje, and the European Film Academy.
