The 4th Lendok International Film Festival was held in Saint Petersburg.

It was also attended by an Uzbek delegation consisting of the Deputy Director of the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture Shukhrat Rizayev, Director Akbar Bekturdiyev, and agency employee Sayyora Khudoyberdiyeva. Well-known Director Ali Khamroyev joined the jury of the film festival.

Within the framework of the festival, feature, joint, and other film competitions were held. Filmmakers from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Iran, Bahrain, Syria, Turkmenistan, Russia and Belarus attended it.

About 300 applications were submitted to participate in the competition program, and 10 films were selected. In particular, the films “Uzbek Woman” and “Steppe” brought actress Aysanem Yusupova and talented actor Seydulla Moldakhanov awards in the nominations “Best Actress” and “Best Actor”.
