According to the BBC Travel, Uzbekistan has been included in the list of the top 25 travel destinations for 2025. Tourism is becoming an important part of the country’s strategy to preserve unique traditions and cultural heritage.

Currently, Uzbekistan is experiencing intensive infrastructure development, including the construction of new hotels, the creation of high-speed railway lines, the organization of domestic air transportation, and the restoration of cultural facilities, which stimulates tourist activity. Uzbekistan is actively promoting its tourism potential on the international stage through participation in tourism exhibitions, global forums, and targeted marketing campaigns.

In particular, the Uzbekistan – Kuwait International Tourism Forum was successfully held with the support of the Tourism Committee and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait.

Representatives from travel agencies, travel companies, airlines, chambers of commerce and industry, and entrepreneurs from both countries attended the event. Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, rich cultural legacy, modern infrastructure, as well as opportunities for pilgrimage, medical, gastronomic, and ecological tourism, were presented at the forum.
