An interview with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kuwait, Ayubkhon Yunusov, was published in several publications, including Al Rai Media, Al-Anba, and Al-Jarida.
The article says that tourist ties between Kuwait and Uzbekistan are developing rapidly, and since June of this year, Kuwaiti citizens have been able to enter Uzbekistan without a visa for 1 month. As noted, these measures will facilitate reciprocal trips between the two countries and contribute to tourism development.

The tourism event, organized by the Embassy, was attended by Asia Luxe Travel Director Temur Khodjayev (Uzbekistan) and Jazeera Airways Commercial Manager Gonca Akça, as well as representatives of more than 40 travel agencies and companies, and several local bloggers.
Ambassador Yunusov expressed gratitude to the participants and stressed that Uzbekistan is rich in historical sites, picturesque landscapes, and unique cultural heritage. He noted that Uzbekistan, located for centuries at the center of the Great Silk Road, is increasingly attracting the international community, researchers, travelers, and diplomats.

Gonca Akça, in turn, noted that, in addition to regular flights to Namangan and Samarkand, Jazeera Airways operates 3-4 additional flights per week during the winter season.
She stressed that the airline launched flights to Tashkent in 2021 and to Fergana in 2019, and their occupancy reached about 80 percent.
The head of the Uzbekistan tourist delegation noted that the demand for destinations is growing every year. According to him, 10 million foreigners visited Uzbekistan last year, and since the beginning of the year, this number has already reached 15 million, with more than one million tourists registering every month.
Following the event, Jazeera Airways offered participants two tickets to Tashkent as a promotional incentive to visit Uzbekistan.
