Uzbekistan delegation led by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Islamov, attended the Conference of the High Courts of the OTS held in Antalya, Türkiye.

The delegations of the highest judicial authorities of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the Chairmen of the Court of Cassation and the State Council (Supreme Administrative Court) of Türkiye, attended the event. The Secretary General of the OTS also took part in the event.

During the conference, which was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and constructive dialogue, the parties discussed current issues of justice development. They outlined prospects for cooperation in various fields of law. Special attention was paid to strengthening inter-family ties and expanding partnership in protecting citizens’ rights and freedoms.

The participants stressed the need for regular dialogue and exchange of experience between the judicial systems of the fraternal countries. Agreements were reached on the creation of common platforms for consultations, the implementation of joint projects, the exchange of legal and technical information, and the maintenance of constant communications between the judicial authorities of the member states.

The conference concluded with the signing of the Charter of the Supreme Courts, the legal framework for further institutionalization of cooperation and the definition of mechanisms for its implementation.
