According to the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, a meeting was held at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in China between representatives of the Tashkent branch of the University of Pisa and JSC Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex.
The parties discussed in detail prospects for further cooperation, issues related to the introduction of advanced educational technologies, and the organization of joint academic programs for students. They also expressed readiness to exchange experience in higher education and in implementing professional development programs for teaching staff.

Following the negotiations, agreements were reached on launching a joint “1+3” educational program in the fields of “International Trade” and “Business Management”. Under this program, students will study for the first year at the Tashkent branch of the University of Pisa and, over the following three years, acquire academic and practical knowledge at UIBE.
