Uzbekistan and Türkiye collaborate on nuclear and radiation safety measures
During the 70th IAEA General Conference, Uzbekistan and Türkiye reached an important agreement to enhance cooperation in radiation and nuclear safety.
The Scientific and Technical Center for Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety and Türkiye’s NÜTED (Nuclear Technical Support Joint Stock Company) signed a document on information exchange and cooperation.
According to the Committee, the parties agreed to focus on using scientific and technical resources effectively, sharing experience, and applying modern methods in practice.
The parties intend to collaborate on research projects, enhance technical skills, and boost analytical abilities. They will organize training courses, seminars, and other professional development activities to upgrade specialists’ qualifications.
