Uzbekistan and the UK expand investment and medical cooperation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with Lord Jason Stockwood, the UK Minister for Investment, in London, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

At the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in key sectors of the economy, including industry, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, critical minerals, healthcare, and digital technologies. Mutual interest in the activation of investment projects and the development of technological partnership was noted.

Following the negotiations, a Memorandum of Cooperation in healthcare services was signed, laying the foundation for deeper collaboration and the development of pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity in Uzbekistan.

It was emphasized that the ongoing initiatives provide a platform for sustainable economic growth, responsible partnership, and stronger ties between Uzbekistan and the UK.
