Uzbekistan and Tajikistan expand cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector

Tashkent hosted the Uzbekistan – Tajikistan Pharmaceutical Forum.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan stated that the forum focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and building stronger connections between government bodies and industry stakeholders.

Besides officials from the relevant ministry, the neighboring country’s delegation also included representatives from the State Service for Supervision of Healthcare and Social Protection of the Population, as well as representatives from pharmaceutical companies and local drug manufacturers.

Officials from the Agency for the Development of Pharmaceutical Industry under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health represented the host country at the event.
