Uzbekistan and Sojitz Corporation discuss new investment projects
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with Kosuke Uemura, President and CEO of Sojitz Corporation, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
During the talks, the parties reviewed the progress of the Japanese company’s investment projects in Uzbekistan and discussed new initiatives to develop bilateral cooperation.
Special attention was paid to the prospects for expanding partnership in industry, energy, transport, and infrastructure projects.
It was noted that Uzbekistan is interested in attracting Japanese investment and is ready to provide comprehensive support for Sojitz Corporation projects that contribute to the modernization of the economy, the introduction of advanced technologies, and the creation of new production facilities in the country.
