Efforts to expand international cooperation in the oil and gas industry, modernize production processes, and introduce advanced technological solutions are ongoing. In this process, the ongoing dialogue and practical cooperation between JSC Uzbekneftegaz and SOCAR are particularly important.
Within the framework of these efforts, the company’s management held a meeting with representatives of SOCAR’s subsidiary structures – SOCAR Trading and SOCAR Downstream Management.
During the discussion, it was emphasized that the strategic partnership between the two countries continues to strengthen and is receiving strong high-level support. In particular, it was noted that the political dialogue under the leadership of the two countries’ leaders, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev, is intensifying economic ties, including cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
At the meeting, SOCAR representatives expressed their readiness to expand cooperation with JSC Uzbekneftegaz to improve the operational efficiency of the Bukhara Oil Refinery, optimize production, and introduce modern operational technologies. In addition, several proposals to implement digital management solutions, improve technological processes, and increase energy efficiency were discussed.
According to the company’s press service, following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to consistently continue practical cooperation, implement joint initiatives step by step, and jointly develop promising projects. At the same time, it was agreed to organize a visit by the Azerbaijani side’s working group to the company to conduct a technical audit and determine further steps based on its results.
