During the talks, the parties emphasized that strengthening educational ties between Uzbekistan and Austria is essential to prepare the two countries’ young people for new stages in the development of global tourism. The exchange of teachers, joint participation in international grant projects, and the expansion of research activities were also under discussion.
Heinz Boyer highly appreciated the attention paid to higher education in Bukhara. He offered suggestions on cooperation to train qualified personnel in tourism and medicine in accordance with international standards.

“This is my second visit to Bukhara. This ancient yet eternally young city is well known throughout Europe. Science and education have been developing here since ancient times. Many tourists are coming here now. With this in mind, we are planning a major project in the region combining tourism, hospitality, and education. It will be based on a dual education system, and I am sure that our cooperation will become a bridge between Bukhara and Austria in the future”, said Heinz Boyer.
