Uzbekhydroenergo JSC has signed an agreement with Roseximbank (Russian Export-Import Bank) on financing the construction of new hydroelectric power plants.
According to Uzbekhydroenergo, it is planned to finance the construction of hydroelectric power plants, including Mulallak with a capacity of 140 MW on Pskem River, cascades of small hydroelectric power plants with a capacity of 51 MW – Kugai-1, Kugai-2, Beshkurgan-1 and Beshkurgan-2 on the Great Andijan Canal in Namangan region to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in the hydropower industry.
Uzbekhydroenergo and Roseximbank JSCs plan to finance new projects worth $340 million on direct loans.
Chairman of the Management Board of Roseximbank JSC Azer Talibov and Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekhydroenergo JSC Abdugani Sanginov exchanged views on the reforms being implemented in the spheres.
