On August 25, the British Embassy in Sweden hosted a national exhibition “Food and Beer”, organized by the Association of Diplomats Stockholm.

Diplomatic missions of Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Iceland, Japan, Latvia, Mexico, Slovakia, the UK, Uzbekistan, Sweden, Australia, and New Zealand participated in the event with their national dishes and drinks.

Uzbekistan representatives participated in this annual exhibition for the first time and were warmly welcomed by the event participants.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Sweden took first place in the nomination for “The Best National Food”.

National dishes and natural gifts of Uzbekistan (shurpa, samsa, melon, etc.) were highly appreciated by all participants.

An agreement was reached with several representatives of the Swedish business on the development of exports of Uzbek products to Sweden.
