The Diplomatic Charity Fair, organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association (DCWA), was attended by foreign embassies, travel agencies, manufacturers and artisans.
This large-scale traditional festival, annually organized in the capital of India, aroused particular interest among residents and guests of the city due to the fact that this year it was organized for the first time after a three-year break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Uzbekistan’s stand, organized by the Embassy of the country in Delhi, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Hunarmand Association, presented handicrafts, in particular, traditional clothes made from adras, ceramics, hats and much more.
The Uzbekistan exposition aroused great interest among the guests of the festival. Those wishing to try Uzbek national dishes – pilaf, samsa, as well as traditional sweets, which are popular among locals and foreigners, also gathered at Uzbekistan stand.
