Based on the results of 11 months, Kazakhstan is recognized as one of Uzbekistan’s three main trading partners.
According to the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January-November, the volume of foreign trade of the country amounted to $59.4 billion, which is 3.6% more than in the same period last year.
Uzbekistan has established economic ties with 195 countries. In terms of trade turnover, the leaders are China (19%), Russia (18%), Kazakhstan (6.5%), Türkiye (4.4%) and Korea (3%).
Products worth $1.3 billion were exported to Kazakhstan, while imports amounted to $2.5 billion.
According to experts, such growth of indicators is facilitated by the common border, the CIS free trade zone, and mutual liberalization of economic relations.
