New cooperation opportunities in the mining sector discussed

A meeting was held among the leadership of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, European Union Ambassador to Uzbekistan Toivo Klaar, and WMC Group representatives.

The discussions focused on priority areas for cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU in the mining and geology sectors. In particular, the parties exchanged views on initiatives by the Netherlands to develop trade and economic cooperation with Uzbekistan in mining and mineral resources. 

At the meeting, WMC Group representatives presented the company’s activities in Uzbekistan and its ongoing work and projects in the country. 

The parties discussed opportunities to launch new projects and expand mutually beneficial cooperation. Following the meeting, the parties identified priority areas for future cooperation.
