The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the welcoming ceremony for the heads of delegations participating in the BRICS Summit in Kazan.

The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin welcomed the President of Uzbekistan at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.

Heads of state and governments of several other countries and heads of international and regional organizations also attended the ceremony.

A formal reception was held following the event.

Tomorrow, on October 24, the Leader of Uzbekistan will address the summit’s plenary session in the BRICS Plus format.
