A delegation led by the Chairman of the Consultative Assembly of Qatar, Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, who arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the 150th IPU Assembly, visited the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Issues related to the development of interparliamentary relations between the two countries were discussed with Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

The parties agreed to intensify the activities of the interparliamentary friendship groups between Uzbekistan and Qatar and to continue exchanging experiences in lawmaking.
