On 27 November, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Philippe Tabarot, Minister of Transport of the French Republic, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and Connectivity Investors Forum.

The distinguished guest conveyed to the Head of State the warm greetings and best wishes of President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.

Issues related to deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and France were reviewed, primarily in the transport and logistics sector, within the framework of the agreements reached during the historic high-level visit to Paris in March of this year.

Special attention was given to expanding cooperation in civil aviation and training highly qualified transport specialists, including through the recently established Uzbek-French University.
