The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum.

The distinguished guest conveyed the sincere greetings of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman to the President of Uzbekistan.

The discussions focused on expanding practical cooperation, primarily in the trade, economic, and investment spheres.

Active contacts at various levels were noted with satisfaction. Within the framework of the forum, the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and business-to-business meetings will be held.

The importance of advancing joint projects in energy, geology, food processing, textiles, chemical industry, transport and logistics, tourism, and the financial sector was emphasized, including through the active support of the Uzbekistan – Oman Investment Company.
