Uzbekistan and Oman discuss expanding bilateral cooperation
The political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Sultanate of Oman were held in Muscat, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The Uzbekistan delegation was led by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhromjon Aloyev, and the Omani delegation was led by the Deputy Foreign Minister Khalifa al-Harthy.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, with particular attention to strengthening political dialogue and expanding cooperation in trade, economics, investment, culture, and humanitarian areas.
In addition, the parties held an in-depth exchange of views on current issues on the regional and international agenda, as well as on cooperation within international organizations.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in developing bilateral cooperation across all areas of common interest.
