On October 31, a solemn ceremony was held at Kuksaroy Residence to welcome the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The national flags of both countries were raised in the square in front of the residence, and an honor guard was lined up.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev warmly greeted the distinguished guest and invited him to the podium.

The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Finland were performed. The heads of state walked around the honor guard and introduced members of their respective official delegations.

Following the welcoming ceremony and the joint photo session, high-level talks between the delegations commenced.
