According to the National Statistics Committee, 1,600 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Japan in January–June 2025. This represents an increase of 651 people, or 71.9 percent, compared to the same period last year.

The purposes of travel were distributed as follows:

Tourism – 1,249 people;

Visiting relatives – 176 people;

Study – 100 people;

Official trips – 27 people;

Medical treatment – 4 people.
