The newly appointed Ambassador of Tajikistan presents his credentials to the Uzbek FM
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan Nasredin Ismatullo, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are bound by a shared history, allied relations, and a commitment to further strengthening their fraternal ties. According to him, there is considerable untapped potential between the two countries, which requires joint efforts.
“We greatly value Mr. Ambassador’s rich diplomatic experience and wish every success in fulfilling his important and responsible mission in our country”, said Bakhtiyor Saidov.
Earlier, the post of head of the Tajikistan diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan was held by Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda.
