Presidents inaugurated the new Tajikistan Embassy building in Uzbekistan

As part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, an opening ceremony of the new building of this country’s embassy in Tashkent was held.

Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon cut the symbolic ribbon and officially opened the new building of the diplomatic mission.

The leaders became familiar with the large-scale complex, which includes the embassy’s administrative buildings and consular section, the ambassador’s residence, and a residential building for diplomats and their family members.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Presidents left commemorative entries in the Book of Honored Guests and planted trees on the diplomatic mission’s grounds.

This event reaffirmed the mutual commitment to strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
