Official meetings were held in Astana, Kazakhstan, with the participation of a delegation from JSC Uzbekneftegaz, led by the Chairman of the Board.

Following the meetings, a major agreement was signed between JSC Uzbekneftegaz, JSC KazMunayGas, the Russian PJSC Tatneft, and the Azerbaijani company SOCAR. This agreement aims to develop joint initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, promote sustainable solutions, and implement environmentally friendly technologies in the oil and gas sector.

At the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further intensifying cooperation and launching new projects, underscoring the strategic nature of the partnership and its importance for the sustainable development of the two countries’ energy sectors.
