Russia’s Yekaterinburg hosts a Media Forum on the activity of the media in the new political, economic and international reality, within the framework of the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. It is attended by over 50 representatives of the leading media in Russia and the CIS countries, including UzA.
The organizers of the event are the Ural State University of Economics and the “Komsomolskaya Pravda” media group.
The first day of the Media Forum began with a plenary session. USUE Rector Yakov Silin emphasized that the task of the media is not only to reflect the change in the world, but also to help the public form the correct perception of these changes. The theme of the media forum is consonant with the theme of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum “A multipolar world in the focus of new reality”. Its events are held at 11 venues with the participation of almost 12,000 people from 108 countries.

The participants of the media forum continued their work in the thematic sections on the role of print media, their distribution in the context of digitalization and editorial office as the center of creative ideas for the development of the municipality. They shared experiences on how to find their niche, survive in the face of heightened competition, attract advertisers, investments, grants, and most importantly, gain the respect and trust of the reader.
The program of the forum includes the work of interactive platforms, master classes from leading journalists of the Komsomolskaya Pravda media group.
